For a true Dutch experience you must go to Haesje Claes! Some say it is the best tradition Dutch restaurant in the Netherlands. Specialises in 'stampots', but serves meat, fish and vegetarian food as well. Next to Leidseplein you find this unexpected cosy restaurant. In the midst of all the tourist traps this "eetcafé" comes highly recommended if you want good food and an even better atmosphere! Some like it hot, some not. This cocktailbar goes both ways. Most of the interior is made of ice, but it also houses a 'Some like it hot' lounge area. Great place to have a new cocktail-experience. This trendy establishment is always worth a visit. Located at Rembrandtplein, this bar is an excellend place to start (or finish, whichever you prefer) the night.
